The first time I e-mailed you was the night before my first surgery. Scared, nervous and feeling very much alone. I asked you to have an exact eye, steady hands and a caring heart. The next morning as I was doing my pre-op you came in and told me we were on a journey and god willing we would finish it together. I now realize as our journey is coming to an end that I received so much more. I received ears that listened to all my questions and concerns, shoulders to lean on when I was not strong and arms to catch me every time I fell and legs that walked beside me through this journey.
